Join KAAN from June 21 – 23 for three days of keynotes, films, presentations, roundtables, performers, exhibits, support forums, and life-changing community. KAAN offers an Adoptee-Only track, as well as sessions for a general audience that are open to all. There are programs for adults aged 18+ and youth aged 8-17. Everyone is welcome, including adoptees, birth families, family members (adoptive parents, spouses/partners, siblings, and children of adoptees), service providers, and Korean Americans. Adoptee-Only Dinner (Offsite) (Separate Ticket Purchase)

Dam No. 4 Woods - East Picnic Grove
Friday's adoptee-only dinner will occur offsite and feature a selection of Korean and Chinese dishes. Food options will accommodate diets for omnivores, vegans, vegetarians, as well as those who are gluten-free or lactose-free. See the menu here.

This dinner is for adult (18+) adoptees only.

Dam No. 4 Woods - East Picnic Grove (The Forest of Cook County)
Free Parking, Accessible Picnic Grove
Seating is limited and will be first-come, first-served. There are grassy areas to sit and gather.

Transportation
Walking is not advised due to the absence of sidewalks and safe pathways. Please arrange for transportation.

  • There will be an ADA-accessible 22-passenger shuttle available every 15 minutes for limited transport. Learn more about the shuttle here
